this cute cute fam came to me because lisa (the mom) needed some updated photos.
she was starting a photography business and wanted some photos of herself for her website.
i had so much fun capturing her personality, and getting to know her darling kiddos!
turns out she is from new zealand!
will and i had just visited new zealand a few months before that, so it was so fun to talk about.
(ie hokey pokey ice cream, the sheep, and the beautiful green rolling hills everywhere!)

we didn't have a chance to meet katelyn & nick before their wedding day,
since they are from out of state.
when she told me to look for the girls in the vintage florals,

i knew i'd be crushing on her wedding day style!

and catching all their sweet little moments together on camera.

we did it!

we brought a beautiful baby girl into the world.

and a few from her sweet birth...

still on maternity leave, and i apologize for being a little behind on returning emails & phone calls.

this little newborn wants to be held all the time, and she seems to get what she wants!

i'll be picking the camera up (for people other than this baby) starting next month!

we photographed their wedding on the SAME day as grace & joe's wedding!
crazy but the timing worked out! i'm so glad!

veselka & philip were married at the union station in LA! radness.

i was so excited when jackie asked me to photograph her wedding.
i have known her for about 10 years now!
jackie & nathan make such a rad couple.
they are super laid back, and they're totally hip and cute.
definitely a great combo for a photographer to work with!
they were married at pasadena museum of california art.
it was such a unique venue!

i used to work with erika,
and we planned her trash the dress shoot for a long time.
i am so glad we finally got to do it and so happy with how it turned out!

erika didn't feel like she had enough detail shots from her wedding photographer,
so we took care of that during this shoot!

i really think they look royalty! and such good models too!

this one is just too romantic!

love this attitude.

so so excited to share these!
i have known philip since i was a kid.
when i met his lovely fiancee veselka, i was like "score!!!"
these two are so perfect for each other.
it was so appropriate that we did their engagement photos at cal poly pomona,
because that's where they met and began dating.
they were both in the same math program.
they're totally smart and totally cute!
not only that, but they took me to supermex twice!
once after our consultation, and once after the shoot! so fun :)

i was so excited when amanda asked me to shoot her wedding!
we've worked together and i've known her for years.

here are some of my favorite images of the bride & groom together...

they had a sweet little reception at a private residence in whittier.
i just loved all the yummy details...
a self-serve lemonade stand with colorful flavors!

there was even a crepe stand with all the toppings & fillings you could ask for!

i may have had more than one crepe throughout the day...

i'm in love with these bright colorful daisies :)

guess what? aaron MADE his wedding ring and amanda's wedding band.

that's pretty amazing!

michelle and eric decided to use their extra portrait session after their wedding -

we call it a trash the dress session,

but hold your horses, we aren't really trashing the dress -

it's a chance to take more photos in your wedding day attire,

without the stress or time crunch inherent in wedding days.

the location and styling possibilities are endless,

so the look and feel of a trash the dress session can be totally unique to your own style.

the newlyweds michelle and eric got all gussied up and looked fantastic,

and we roamed the streets and shores of seal beach together.

this was a super fun day...
i showed up to meet jeff & stephanie and they roll up in a hot classic car!
i have a sweet spot for vintage cars...
you see, my first car was a 1965 plymouth valiant convertible.
i LOVE them. anyway...
they brought their sweet puppy o'malley.

being a wedding photographer is so rewarding because
